Structure, Planning, and Operations
Executives of younger companies tend to always gave a bit too
little time to spend as much time on details as would be
optimal. Tweaks to the business model, planning the
timing of hires and employee base composition, and expansion
(or contraction) planning are all elements to which we can
contribute.
Expansion Plans and Financing
Raising capital and deploying it are some of the most common
sources for executives' headaches. We sit down with
executives to discuss business plans, identify capital
requirements and suggest funding sources, develop the business
plan, and lay out financing strategies. We aren't a
brokerage firm with its own agenda; we discuss with you
whether capital raising is merited, how much or how little is
needed, and the implications of different financing models on
your equity participation.
Exit Planning and M&A Strategies
Executives and owners of a
younger company are often faced with the realization that a
sale of the company is, or should be, in the near future.
In many cases, however, they aren't quite sure how to best
drive to the desired result, what sale price is fair, or what
operational plans should be made to maintain flexibility
leading up to the deal.
We help you realize what you want.
When goals are made explicit, we believe that you are freer to
build your company in the way you believe right. If your
company needs another few years to command the price you want,
you can reset your product, financing, and operational
metrics. If the time to be in the market is now, perhaps
a full-court press with an M&A banker is merited. In
other cases, you may be a company backer who comes to the
realization that operations should be wound down and the most
extracted from what remains of the company.
